Old Fashioned

If you don't already know I greatly admire men who are gentlemen. I am also absolutely in love with Humphrey Bogart! He is strong and even daring, yet still is romantic and definitely has swagg (oh yes). As I was looking through his pictures, I was inspired by the photography and also the stories these shots told. Not to mention the style of the clothing are absolutely fashionable. I had to share with you these photographs. There were many more, but here are a few that I hope you enjoy and are inspired by!

Lauren Bacall is gorgeous. I love the way she is posed in this photograph.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to live in a time when people dressed like this everyday!

White shirts, belts, and pockets.

Humphrey Bogart is so strong, yet romantic at the same time. (This is one of his movies, I wish I knew what it was called.)

This is one of my favorite movies which is called Sabrina. Audrey Hepburn looks absolutely stunning in her white gown.

Marilyn Monroe should be 84 years old now. I love how candid this shot is.

Most gorgeous couple ever.

The reason why I love fashion photography is because the photographer can tell a story with each picture. And the models are posing, yet it does not look static. That's what I love about this photograph.

"I’m not good-looking. I used to be but not anymore. Not like Robert Taylor. What I have got is I have character in my face. It’s taken an awful lot of late nights and drinking to put it there. When I go to work in a picture, I say, ‘Don’t take the lines out of my face. Leave them there.’" — Humphrey Bogart

I must say, that without Bogart's wrinkles, he wouldn't be the same.

so cute! I totally agree...it would be so fun if we all still dressed like this! there is something so feminine about the women's clothing and the men all looked so gentlemanly!
