Hey Beautiful

I decided to take a series of portraits of my friend Betty whose roots are from Kenya and whose beauty I am always touched by whenever I see her. The weather was very warm and the sun was bright, but I took her pictures in the shade behind the tall bushes. I wanted to display her culture in a unique way by just focusing on the texture of her face and hair.
